CAP’s primary goal is to help find homes for homeless pets and to that end will always need more adoptive families. To assist in our mission we value the support of our community and encourage people to advocate for homeless pets by promoting pet adoption to friends and family members. To help pets who are not quite ready for adoption, we rely on foster parents to provide TLC to get them on their way. Fostering commitments usually range 1-3 weeks, but can last as long as 4 months throughout heartworm treatment. Onsite volunteers are welcome after attending a volunteer orientation and completing mentorship.
